The systems
Same logic.
Two contract sizes.
MesBot and EsBot trade the S&P 500 futures complex on a fixed rule set. The difference between them is the instrument, and therefore the capital required and the value of every tick.
MesBot, Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES)
The lower capital route in.
MES is one tenth the size of the full contract, which makes it the sensible place to run an automated strategy for the first time. This is the system with a published live record.
Backtested results are hypothetical and carry the limitations described in our disclosures. The live log is separate and shows real fills.
EsBot, E-mini S&P 500 (ES)
The same approach, full size.
ES carries ten times the tick value of MES, so both the capital requirement and the per trade outcome scale accordingly. Suited to accounts already trading the full contract.
Scaling
More exposure, same rules.
Contracts are added in pairs as the account grows, funded at $1,750 a pair, and never taken back off in a drawdown. The chart below applies that rule to the real live trades. The live account made its first step on 20.04.26, moving from 2 contracts to 4.
| Contracts | MES account | Scale | Per trade basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | $1,750 | x1 | $150 |
| 4 | $3,500 | x2 | $300 |
| 6 | $5,250 | x3 | $450 |
| 8 | $7,000 | x4 | $600 |
| 10 | $8,750 | x5 | $750 |
| 12 | $10,500 | x6 | $900 |
Based on a $150 move at 2 contracts (1 contract per side).

Hypothetical illustration
Both lines apply the real live trade results to a account opening at contracts. One holds that size throughout. The other adds 2 contracts each time the balance covers another $1,750, stepping up times, and never steps back down in a drawdown. This is a calculation applied to past results, not a record of trades taken at these sizes, and hypothetical results have inherent limitations. See the full disclosure. Larger size does not reduce the chance of loss, it increases the amount at stake. In development
